Applications are made online
All required documents must be received by mail before:

Documents in the online application
Documents to be downloaded and uploaded
Beside filling out the online application, the candidate is requested to download, fill out and upload the following three documents:
1. Abstract of courses from the attached template [DOC - 32 Ko] in pdf or jpeg format
2. Statement of purpose from the attached template [DOC - 32 Ko] in pdf or jpeg format
3. Financial statement from the attached template [DOC - 35 Ko] in pdf or jpeg format
Documents to be uploaded
In addition to the documents mentioned above, the candidate is asked to upload the following documents:
1. Candidate's picture in .jpg format
2. Candidate's resume in pdf or jpeg format
3. Scanned copies of academic transcripts of records in .pdf format
When available:
4. Scanned copies of official ranking certificates in .pdf format
5. Scanned copies of official certificates of degrees received in .pdf format
6. Scanned copies of certificates of honors and prizes in .pdf format
The original version of the above documents should be sent by mail before:
Documents need to be provided in French or in English.
Recommendation letters:
The candidate is asked to give the name, title and e-mail address of at least two professors or educational advisors, most familiar with his/her academic work, in the online application.
When the candidate validates the recommendation page, Ecole Polytechnique contacts those professors to obtain the recommendation letters which play an essential role in the selection process.
Beside filling out the online application, the candidate is requested to download, fill out and upload the following three documents:
1. Abstract of courses from the attached template [DOC - 32 Ko] in pdf or jpeg format
2. Statement of purpose from the attached template [DOC - 32 Ko] in pdf or jpeg format
3. Financial statement from the attached template [DOC - 35 Ko] in pdf or jpeg format

- April 15, 2013 for early applications

Official version of the documents above (previously uploaded on the application website)
1. Academic transcripts of records showing all the marks obtained since the beginning of the university studies.
When available:
2. Academic certificates certifying the candidate's ranking at the university entrance examination and at the end of each academic year.
3. Certificates of degrees received.
4. Certificates of main honors and prizes mentioned in the curriculum vitae
5. Score reports for language tests mentioned in the curriculum vitae.
Additional documents
1. Application for admission from the attached template [DOC - 27 Ko]
2. Official proof of citizenship (copy of passport)
3. Application fee of 80 € (not refundable); candidates holding a scholarship from their university or Government (in their home country) do not pay the application fee. A scholarship certificate must be enclosed to the application file. Candidates registered in a partner university, in a double degree program, do not pay the application fee.
