• Call for internship subjects among Ecole Polytechnique laboratories
• Internship subjects are sent out to the local contacts in the Partner Institutions
• Selection by the local contacts of up to 5 candidates for each internship subject or research group. Each student can apply for up to 3 internship subjects or research groups
• The local contacts send out by e-mail a list of candidates along with their applications. Deadline: December 20, 2012
• The list of candidates for each subject or research group is sent out to the laboratories along with their full applications
• The host laboratories select students among the candidates
• The list of selected students is sent out to the local contacts
• The selected students finalize with the host research group the starting date and the length for the internship

Outside this framework and in the limits of available resources, the Vice Presidency for External Relations (DRE) could evaluate requests from Partner Institutions if the full application is received at the latest 3 months before the beginning of the internship.
